Laughter Through Tears

Although I disapprove of using non-standard anatomical terms, and the standards are anterior/posterior which are easy to remember, some people don't seem to obey my decrees. I'm not sure why. Hence, I need to memorize the terms rostral/caudal. Blurghies.

Caudal means tail, like a ring-tailed lemur. Adorable.

Rostral means head, like a snake's rostrum. I think they're adorable, but other people usually find them gross/scary. Searching the string "cute snake" brings up this adorable gallery-ful of cuties, this highly successful ouroboros and a photo of a hot lady with a snake.

...I'm not procrastinating. I'm studying. Really.

So I mentioned the AfterEllen.com Hot 100 before, right? It's a yearly list of the hottest women, as voted by the site regulars, mostly queer women. I mean, probably a few straight votes sneak in there, and certainly there are a lot of queer women who are not site regulars, and don't vote. Still, the list is often a lot more interesting than the more "traditional" hot lists.

This is the first year I voted. My taste is a little eccentric. There are a bunch that I knew wouldn't get in. Often the top votes are the women who got the most buzz in the past year. So, for the sake of there being more pictures of hot women and ladies in the world, this is a picspam of some of my votes that didn't make it.

I watched the pilot of Caprica last night and liked it. I want more.

But! More importantly! Lola aged to elder and had a big birthday bash with almost all of her kids in attendance. It's picspam time!
