Life Update

lea_hazelHealth update: I tried talking to my psych about the lower dosage of Wellbutrin not working. Due to BP reasons, she decided to take me off it altogether and try another AD. The first one she wanted to try proved to conflict with some of my other meds when I took it to the pharmacy. Seven blessings on pharmacists in general and mine in particular, because the doc totally missed that one. Now I have to catch her on the phone to see if there's something else she can offer me. Meanwhile things are very bad indeed and I've been thinking about suicide on a daily basis lately, which didn't seem to alarm the doc very much when I told her. She was much more worried about my weight, obviously.
Today I finally started digging into the Capricious pronouns issue. I read two stories, both of which are pretty fabulous.
With the rest of my day, I'm going to try and push myself to submit some stories to some markets, even if I feel pretty sure that they're not a perfect fit, or they're not very good, or they're sure to be rejected. Rejections actually are kind of uplifting to me. I may have over-internalized that glib line about wallpapering your living room with them.
"The Magician" and "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" remain unfinished. The "time traveling gay fairies" story remains a complete and utter mess.
Everything is not okay. Everything is not okay but we're alive and we keep moving forward.
