Dragon Age Big Bang

If you're into remaining unspoiled for big bangs, don't read behind the cut. Or I could screen this for my access list, that's also an option.
So, DABB.
I signed up to write. The minimum is 10K words, which is the sort of thing that usually takes me months, if not years, to write. I definitely need someone to take interest in my draft to help me keep up flagging motivation. It's always easier when you know someone is looking forward to the next part. Usually I can't maintain enough momentum to capture and hold an audience, so a lot of my ongoing stories taper due to disinterest -- both mine and the fandom's.
Since I'm concerned about readership, naturally I elected to write a femslash story that prominently features one of the fandom's least favorite characters. Le sign.
Good news: I'm in love with the concept. It's a modern A/U with lots of bits and pieces of things thrown in. I've so far enjoyed the writing itself. I've made progress and I'm starting to get into the really interesting parts. It's a bingo square. It's the sort of thing that I like to read but hardly ever write. I can look at it and say, "Wow, I stretched myself, I tried something new and put my all into it," regardless of whether I complete it, or whether it's any good.
