Fringe S3

I lost track of Fringe earlier this year and now I'm starting to catch up. The flashback episode put me off (I thought it was a particularly poor effort, and inconsistent with canon, in addition to hitting a pet peeve of mine), but I'm giving it another chance. Now the next after episode has Olivia getting possessed by Spock's soul magnets being called forth by the ring of a bell and I don't know what to think.

Although I will note again that this is a show in which OT3 may literally save the world.
