My Subconscious Plays Games

lea_hazelEllen Page isn't playing the big bad of this season of Dexter, is she? Because this is what my subconscious decided on showing me, yesterday morning. Mind, this was hours before I'd watched the actual premiere, which sucked ovaries because seriously dude, no one thinks Dex is just gonna up and leave his three kids, so cut out the random unnecessary angst and gimme some fucking plot. Only two good things came of it: Dexter suspected for murder (obvious and necessary), and a little about his flat emotions, which could have been cut by a third and still worked well.
Oh well. At least Ellen Page wasn't murdered in a highly gruesome fashion.
Other things that happened yesterday: Went shopping for the new apartment, got a new closet (arriving next week), and fought with the mother. Also looked at couches, which are pending decision. The good news is, I didn't fight with the father about how and why I think a sofa is more important than a closet. How can furniture be so fraught with drama?
