lea_hazelIt feels weirdly like a triumph to be sitting at my computer, at my desk, in my apartment, right now.
I didn't get to crash on Monday and the new place still isn't perfect. I keep having to wait for people or run around replacing things, and I majorly forgot that after moving all my shit will be dusty and I will feel the need to wash all of the dishes that were in the boxes. And I don't have a closet for my clothes, yet. That one's supposed to get here next week.
But on the whole, things are going okay. Better for me than in the world in general, as the news keeps reminding me.
Time will tell whether getting a super-long network cable was a mistake. I could have moved my desk instead, but I chose this position for it deliberately. And, of course, I could ask my tech guy to install a wi-fi card for me. That's also an option.
