General pros: gen, strong but complex family relationships, female mentors, nonbinary or gender variant characters, femslash, poly shipping, snark, banter, did I mention gen?
General cons: more than canon-typical violence or gore, large amounts of casual background sexual violence, romanticizing dysfunctional relationships, pairing off every single background character, aro-negativity.
Many of the fandoms I listed are animation series for kids that mix some dramatic or serious implications with a lot of light-hearted humor. If you want to go for a more serious or dramatic tone in your fic, go for it. If you want to keep the same mix of humor and drama as canon, that's fine too. If you want to explore the implications of quite young characters being pushed into very dangerous situations, that's great. When I say I prefer "no more violence than canon" I'm talking more about things like extraneous "edgy" torture scenes, not about things like combat-related trauma, or grief, or survivor's guilt.
In short, I'm more interested in the mental aspects of war than the physical ones.
3Below (Cartoon) × love the canon, love all the lady characters. I have a particular affection for Ajah, but also would be interested in Zadra/Izita, if you feel moved to the occasion. Post season 1, Zadra continuing Ajah's training would also be really cool.
Cinders (Visual Novel) × I requested this mainly because the fandom's been dormant so long. Sophia is my favorite. Anything with her would be wonderful. Sophia/Basile is a good pairing but totally optional.
Seven Kingdoms: The Princess Problem (Visual Novel) × There's nothing I don't love here, except romanticized/idealized MC/Jarrod. I'm open to all canon pairings and most NPC pairings, with the exception of anything that alters the canon orientation of gay or ace characters (Avalie, Anaele, Leala etc.).
I love speculation about the rebels and/or the weavers. I adore worldbuilding and all those fun little touches from your MCs' lives before the summit. And I love love love NPC POVs. Love to see snatches of how the characters interact with each other when the MC isn't around.
Fun combinations: Jasper, Sayra and Ria; Lyon and Avalie; Anaele and literally any of the female characters; Anaele and Lisle, especially when the MC is a Countess who's romancing Ana; Hamin and Leala, if you don't mind writing a character who hasn't appeared in canon, yet; Avalie and Gisette could be very interesting to play off each other; also, I've always wondered about Gisette and Sayra, and their one and only canon interaction (during the Girls' Night).
Would love to see a little more femslash and/or poly in the fandom, but totally optional. I'd be just as thrilled with pure gen.
Edit: Just wanted to quickly add that the crack NPC ships nearest to my heart are Zarad/Cordelia and Ana/Penelope.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018) × I love all the characters but especially the grown-ups. Angella as a mom, a warrior and a queen. Shadow Weaver back story. Anything with Entrapta as the ultimate True Neutral. Of course I love Adora herself, too.
Steven Universe (Cartoon) × Lapis. Peridot. Lapis and Peridot hijinx. Lapus/Peridot as a healthy, quirky QPR.
The Dragon Prince (Cartoon) × I love Claudia and find her particular mix of dark/earnest and quirky/hilarious infinitely entertaining. I'm also fully on board with Amaya in general, and Amaya/Opeli in particular. Does Viren count as an evil vizier? He might.
Cross over literally any or all of these. With each other, or with the Megillah. I'm very comfortable with alternate universes, too.
I have a particular love of 7KPP crossovers. Basically any of the fandoms I listed are a good match to cross over with 7KPP, and any of the female characters that I adore would make hilarious, fantastic, or wonderfully terrible delegates. Or vice versa. Maybe the Arland!MC can be a Princess of Power. Maybe Jasper is a Crystal Gem. Anything is possible. That's what makes crossovers great.
Most importantly: have fun with it.
