TV and such
Saturday, 15 December 2018 13:11I mostly watch stuff on Netflix so that I can have something on while I'm eating dinner, or catch up on stuff at my mother's because she has satellite and gets a lot of the shows that Netflix doesn't stock in Israel. So I'm often not even up to date with shows that I do follow, because streaming is frankly more trouble than it's worth, most of the time. And my total inability to keep track of time means I never know what's coming when unless my brother keeps me up to date.

Two weeks ago I accidentally watched the entire run of the new She-Ra in the course of a single Saturday. And then this Wednesday I somehow watched the entire run of The Dragon Prince in a single evening. Apparently I watch cartoons again? And it's cool, because it works for me right now. So now it's Saturday afternoon and I'm gonna start watching Trollhunters, because why not.

2018-12-15 14:54 (UTC)But yeah, I found the first part of S1 borderline watchable. The second part of S1 has Angor Rot so that's an immediate plus, and then S2 and S3 take a bunch of sharp turns - the S2 finale is a "Did you just DO that" sort of a thing.
(You're going to get pissed off about the show's handling of Angor. And probably feel there were wasted opportunities with Morgana. I have the fixit fork-in-the-road fic for Angor, but haven't taken on the Morgana task.)
