November is over.

NaNoWriMo is over.
My "pessimist's goal" was to write at least 5K words, across all my writing projects, over the course of the month. I met that goal relatively early on.
My "optimist's goal" was to write 5K words on Turncoat Chronicle. It was, indeed, overly optimistic.
What I actually accomplished was roughly 9K words of fanfic, and about 3,800 words on TC -- plus some significant testing and code refactoring, and some interesting debug and edit adventures. The fic was all Verity stuff, despite my desire to get on with Allegra's story, now that it's getting to juicier parts.
And early in the month I wrote a tiny snippet for Blue Rose. Not something that will make it to the final draft, although I counted it in my monthly word count. What it did is help keep me in the story's head, so to speak. I've also solved, just in the past couple of days, a major dilemma of characterization that I didn't realize I was having. It's been blocking me since early September, so hopefully this will allow me to move on a little.
I've started writing more of Verity's story from outside perspectives. I have two in progress from Nissa and Dion's POVs respectively, and I'd like to write Kavita and Claude's, too, and possibly another as yet to be introduced character.
And I brainstormed ideas for the very possible TC sequel, Turncoat Nemesis. Since I'm past the halfway point of the story, since I'm still actively working on it, I feel I'm allowed to think that far ahead. Now and then. Not too often. But I have sincere hopes that TC could conceivably be published in 2020.
Next weekend I'm having my own private little "writing retreat". I hope to work on either TC or BR, with mystical luck perhaps both.
