Simming Three Style

lea_hazelI almost wrote this entry before I left for work, but managed to restrain myself just in time.
I am still playing the Lin household. Shirley and Roxie both achieved their lifetime wishes and aged to elders. They're over 90 days old, hence living on borrowed time. Roxie is on her second career, in politics, and doing well. Her daughter Talia aged to young adult, and is a lucky, outdoors-loving, artistic, green thumb bookworm who wants the perfect garden. She's pretty close to it, with all the work Shirley and Roxie put into the garden when she was growing up.
Talia married Dmitri Ivanov, who's a fair bit older than her. He's a lovably neurotic virtuoso loser who wants to be a chess master. She's pregnant also, and I haven't figured out if I want them to have a boy or a girl. When she gets her lifetime wish, maybe I'll send her out to work. So far she's been gardening, reading and painting all the time.
I keep looking up TS3 versions of the apocalypse challenge, but I don't like any of the ideas I've seen so far. Maybe I'll come up with a version of my own. Maybe I'll make a version of Jill Smith and move her into a copy of Riverview. I can't seem to get any of the empty/custom neighborhoods to work for me, they never let me select an active household for them, they button is just blue and unselectable.
Also, someone needs to talk me out of writing a book about sparkly vampires, just to prove that I can.
