Busy Times

lea_hazelThe parents and brother went away to York for a week and a half, starting Monday, so this week has been very busy. I'm only just keeping up, and usually not with the schedule I planned. I meant to be out the door and on my way to work by now. I meant to do the laundry last night. It's a new month and I don't like to start new months behind on things. I think I just need to accept that it will take me a week or so to catch up.
Sunday was forty years to the Stonewall riots. I keep meaning to read more about it and not quite finding the time. It will be the weekend soon and I'll catch up. I'll do the laundry tonight, after I visit my grandmother. Everything is (more or less) under control.
