Bus Season
Tuesday, 5 May 2009 13:22I've been thinking about BADD and continuing to read blog entries about it. I was thinking about it Sunday morning when I was jolted into my seat on the bus.
Buses + hilly city + rheumatoid arthritis = painful, wobbly knees.
I was taught to sit at the back of the bus because the front of the bus seats are for people who are older or sicker or more tired than me, and they need them more. I am starting to think that maybe I should be sitting in the front seats, so that I can be sitting before the bus starts to move.
Part of chronic illness is getting used to thinking about yourself as a person who's chronically ill.
