Time to rethink the structuring of my days, weeks, months (foreseeable future).

I got a job. I am sort of superstitiously hesitant to write out these words, so I am only posting about this now even though I (basically) knew about it yesterday already. I did a couple of interviews for a very exciting/scary job, and I got a call featuring the words "sign" and "availability" and I knew that was that. I just feel nervous and probably will until I have a signed contract in hand... or maybe until I get an actual paycheck.

Lots going on. No more spending entire days on Tumblr/marathoning TV shows/writing fanfic. More timecrunch to get assignments like DABB and purimgifts done properly (speaking of which, I need a PG beta so bad). Especially since, if I gather correctly, the first few $TIME_UNIT of the job are going to be fairly hectic/challenging. I mean, professionally in the long term I am very looking forward to it! But things might be topsy-turvy for me in the short term. Commute and readjustment and such.

This may or may not affect my plans to study discrete mathematics this semester.

I will need to rethink/reprioritize so many things. This is what I wanted, right?

Yes, I am writing in a fandom I've never written for before. It's always so nerve-wracking.

If it's a fandom I don't know I can only help so much with char-voices, but grammar and story mechanics carry over.

Familiar with the concept, watched the first ep and decided to not continue watching. I don't mind that for beta - definitely not for a short story - but yeah, I'm not particularly useful for character voices, if that's what you're worried about.
