I've started using internet sudoku as, not a distraction or break activity, but a metric of how focused or unfocused I am. The "normal" difficulty puzzle should take me 5-6 minute on average. If I'm doing poorly it takes longer. If I'm doing very poorly I don't succeed at completing it at all and quit before I'm done.

I'm not doing too well right now, but at least I have some sort of baseline to compare to, instead of just wondering if my mind is unraveling and having no way to gauge it.

I do this with hidden object games to measure how bad my MS cognitive difficulties are. I find it helpful to have that baseline, too.
