My Life, It Is Eaten
Wednesday, 6 June 2012 15:57After tomorrow, there are only two more weeks in this semester. This means it's time to start stressing about exams, and how goddamn long I'm going to be doing them, and how awful it will be, and how I will have to be disciplined which is really not my forte. Because I am out of time to be good later. Oof. I said I would be good this semester, dammit. I guess this is only a mark of how sick I am of being in uni, that I can't seem to motivate myself to give a gliding fox's ass.
My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to study for all my first date exams and get at least an 80 on all of them, excluding neurobiology, as well as MATLAB where I demand a grade of ninety or higher. Otherwise I must be very stern with myself indeed. Truth be told that should really be 100, there's no reason for me to have anything but a perfect score in MATLAB. Additionally I will require no more than two (2) second date exams to improve a grade, unless microbiological destiny interferes and I get one of those legendary flues with backache that only pop up during exam season.
I expect myself to be done with exams in early August, unless cognitive neuroscience goes bad, in which case I am determined to spend the entire month studying Gazzaniga five days a week, eight hours a day like it's my goddamn day job. And then score 90+. Under no circumstances am I to purchase a copy on Dragon Age II that has the slightest risk of arriving before the 7th of August.

I really do kind of like cognitive neuroscience a lot. IDK why it was so hard for me to concentrate in class or do the required reading.
