I hate the fucking AO3. It posted my draft without permission. I really fucking hate it when people read my stuff when it's not finished. It's one thing that makes me really mad. Now I don't even know if I'll ever want to finish/post this draft. I was feeling so good about this idea and this fuck up has soured me on the whole thing.

Blah, how frustrating. The new Drafts feature confounds me, too.

A safer way to work on a draft is to add your work to the "unrevealed drafts" collection. Once it's finished you can either remove it from the collection (which is quick, but does mean your subscribers won't get notified) or copy and paste the details over to a new work.

I got too used to the draft features on other websites, and that made me complacent. I guess I just assumed it would work in a familiar way.

It doesn't matter, I have other websites to save drafts on. It's just my personal neurosis that makes my skin crawl if people read my unfinished work, and I got a kudos notification which just made me flip out.
