I am just all over the place today.
Set out at noon to get tickets to Newcastle and a new pair of sandals. Failed at both. My end of work schedule sadly overlaps the holidays, one of the busiest flight schedules out of Israel, and also mega-expensive. The travel agent will call me on Sunday to see if she can make me a better deal.
Nnedi Okorafor wrote a very negative review of District 9. It's got spoilers, but it also made me not want to watch the movie at all. Her book Zahrah the Windseeker is sitting on my to-read pile, right after I conclude the two trilogies I started earlier this year. Good thing, because I'm a bit in the mood for YA fantasy, and have gone off my previous go-to author for such things.
