Things I Did: Washing Machine Edition

A bit more than two weeks after I bought it, I finally have a hooked up and working washing machine. As for the dryer, we're not talking about that right now. In honor of this, and of the fact that I always seem to be dwelling on lists of things I haven't done yet, here's a list of Stuff I've Done:
I hooked up the stove to the gas network, and worked out an automatic payment plan through the bank.
I bought jeans - on sale. I'm wearing them now.
I wrote a research proposal for a seminar and handed it in before the deadline. It was a good proposal and I got a good grade. Which I deserve.
I signed up for classes this semester and got all the classes I decided on in advance.
I bought a desktop computer and all peripheral equipment I could possibly need at home. I replaced my mouse when it broke - twice.
I bought four pieces of wall art at Dragon*Con.
I cleaned my electric fan when it got dusty.
This one time five years ago I wrote a multi-chapter fanfic and completed it. I was pretty pleased with the results.
I bought a desk chair for a pretty reasonable price. I sit in it literally most of my waking hours and so it's the single most important piece of furniture in the house.
I signed up for pilates classes and went to them, and improved perceptibly at them.
I made a decision to walk to class every morning, unless it's raining, and I've stuck by it for two weeks.
I procured a bus pass against insurmountable odds. I should get like a medal or something. Seriously it's like armageddon out there.
A few years ago I did NaNoWriMo and wrote over 25K words of a story that I was really enjoying at the time, and it was very entertaining to write.
When I couldn't find a job after the army I signed up for second semester and took a bunch of classes that had nothing to do with my career path.
When I got a good job offer I dropped my classes and worked there for over two years.
When I couldn't stand not being in school anymore I quit my job and signed up for university again.
I am now in my third year. I've completed four semesters of classes in higher education.
Oh hey I'm not doing too bad. I should make a habit of this.
