Don't Believe in Love

If anyone saw me on Tumblr ranting about something called DBIL, this is it. It's the project that's been mutating in my mind since February, when I very impulsively downloaded a program called Twine for writing hypertext fiction. Obviously I immediately started an overly ambitious project involving a branching storyline centered around aromanticism.

This month I kinda-sorta got my act together. I patched up a minimal first version of the hypertext story, and I edited part of it into a linear prose story. That last turned into a trope_bingo fill for the friends-to-lovers square (subverted/inverted/reverted/messed up in some other way). I may get back to the hypertext and add back the branches I removed. There may also be a half-finished music mix to go along with it.

The story is here if you're so inclined. From my vantage it's hard to judge if it's any good, but I worked my ass off on it, which is a plus either way.
