Florence, Venice and Rome in Seven Days

Florence was amazing. I could have easily spent a week there, there was so much that we didn't see. We covered the basics I guess, but I could have spent easily two whole days just in the Uffizi gallery. Definitely on my plan to return to Florence someday, especially since we didn't even see any of the countryside.

Venice was a little harder to enjoy, at least on the first day. Due to some dubious planning, we ended up walking for three solid hours with no time to stop or sit. The heat was oppressive and I was at the end of my rope. The second day was much better.

Now we're on our way to Rome on a train with patchy wifi. We have three days in Rome, or rather two whole days and this afternoon. I hope we'll get to see as much of everything as possible. Probably we will spend a whole day in the Vatican alone. Today I think we'll do less because I'm tired and I may have a cold. I don't want to push myself like on Sunday.

Once we get back the holidays start.
