Semester's End
Saturday, 4 June 2011 00:33So the semester ended yesterday with the class in which my group did a presentation. Next week is Shavuot and then after that I have to start crunching hard for exams that cover a lot of material but don't give me a lot of points. I turned in some bureaucratic papers for next semester's classes and I hope I get a response fast enough that I know what I'm actually doing with myself next year. If I have to reorganize all my plans at the last minute I will get cranky.
I did get confirmation on my official position regarding university faculty which is nice in retrospect.
Besides that I have to really worry about my average as this was second year, the year in which I was supposed to understand everything and finally go back to expecting the sort of grades I'm used to (> 85 at least) and none of that has happened. My average is still sort of tragic and if I don't get it up by a lot very soon I have reason to be quite concerned about my future. This concern is ameliorated by the top secret rule that states that a student may only repeat two classes in their entire degree to improve grades.
