Cake

I am almost positively decided on this peach cake. Maybe I'll make a batch of muffins while I am at it.

I am reading Predictably Irrational which is my second non-fiction since my last birthday -- both were gifts. This is notable because I read very little non-fiction. Typically because I have the same problem I'm having now, difficulty getting into it and staying into it, due to being distracted by my epic yearning for some fictional books.

I commented on the Smugglers' latest radar post and was delighted to find that Thea and I have almost identical taste in fantasy. As I mentioned, the new Hobb and the new Carey are two of the main books I'm lusting after. The third seems like a tease to mention; it's the conclusion of the Israeli trilogy I mentioned.
