So, the comics came last week (before Shavuot) and I never really wrote about it.
Wonder Woman is still pretty awesome, although not as gut-wrenchingly awesome as the previous issue.
We got two issues of Captain Britain, which had the good sense to get canceled just as we were trying to get into it; I liked them okay, but my brother is weirded out by Pete Wisdom being all leader-like and non-gritty. I don't know the characters and have only half an idea of what's going on, so it's hard to comment.
We got two issues of Ex Machina and the political angle is intriguing. That was the second issue. The first issue was very meta and I wasn't in the mood for meta, so all I can say is the art had very pronounced eyelashes.
Elephantmen was my favorite of the new comics. It's fitting, because I read the first issue online and fell madly, instantaneously in love. I had only heard of it once before, but I convinced my brother to give it a shot anyway. We still need to see where it's going, but so far, no disappointments.
The others were largely unremarkable. Next month is the first issue of The Unwritten, which is pretty exciting.
