There's something on my network page that autoplays an audio of some sort. It took me a couple of seconds to figure it out and hit the back button. I am not a fan of autoplaying audio in general. It kind of sharpens how my network page is an epic jungle of adventure, for better or worse.

My BSG Thought for the Day

So zvi did a totally fascinating meme on certain, shall we say, intentionally over-the-top fanfic tropes, which lead me to a most startling realization: The only way to explain Anders' ~epic~ devotion to Kara is if they were a psychically linked dragon/dragonrider pair in a previous life. Or next one. I'm not picky.

I also had another realization, but that's going in the vampire/elf/sex pollen meta I'm writing after I finish the test that must not be named.

Speaking of sex pollen, has everyone read this awesome writeup of a WisCon panel? I am so jealous! As if it didn't sound desirable enough, apparently they also have worldbuilding panels where people sit and build a world together and then make up a musical about it. A musical with tentacle Jesus.
