Party Time?

This week has been long and depressing, I'm still not on top of getting all my work done on time, and if I don't get my shit together pretty soon, it'll be too late. On Monday I actually got upset enough to leave a class, and today I was wondering about dropping one of my seven courses, even though they're all tied together in such a way that it would set me back considerably.

But enough about that! Yesterday I picked up a second-hand book (I know, I swore I wouldn't buy anymore new books, twice). It's called The Oxford Murders and so far I've found it delightful. I love murder mysteries, they make excellent bus reading, and the perspective of a stranger (albeit Argentinian) in Oxford was familiar and brought back several hilarious memories. There's something about the book that's very straight, I can't quite put my finger on what it is. More than usually for a book with a straight POV character, I mean. The mathematical angle is also proving more interesting than I might have guessed, but the book is very readable and not at all heavy.

Anyway, I'm having a little house-warming party tonight, so I better do the dishes and try to get some statistics done.
